We have a new hostess for February at CAS Colours & Sketches with a new color challenge. One that is perfect for Valentine's Day! YoonYoung gave us Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride and Real Red.
My card is also for the Ways to Use It challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The WTUI challenge gives a particular element, product (example, embossing powder) or tool to use in making your card. This week is "inchies" - those small 1 x 1 inch squares. You can also use "twinchies" which are 2 x 2 inch squares. My inchies are punched with a postage stamp punch and each square has three layers of a contrasting color underneath. Melon Mambo under Blushing Bride and the reverse. The heart is die cut from Real Red.
I'm also entering this in the CASology challenge for Week 400:
Products used:
- Dies: Stampin' Up! Playful Alphabet, MFT Hearts Stax
- Cardstock: Basic White Thick, Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo, Real Red
- Accessories: Square Postage Stamp Punch (retired)
