Floral Panel Card

It's Tuesday and another challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches!  This week is a sketch challenge.

Here is the posted sketch:
I was originally going to put a sentiment across the floral panel but decided to try something a bit different.  This is my favorite ribbon so I wanted to use it.  Since it just didn't look right laid across the panel as a single piece, I folded it in half, angled the halves slightly and used a copper colored staple to adhere it.
I used four pieces of the Wisteria Wonder cardstock under the panel to lift it and add just a hint of color.  It still needed a little something so I put on a few sequins.

Stamps: Stampin' Up! Painted Petals
Dies: MFT Stitched Rounded Rectangles
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum, Pera Pizzazz; Old Olive
Ribbon:  Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon

  5. Stacking the purple cardstock underneath the floral panel is a very clever way to add, in your words, a hint of color! It's something I wouldn't have thought to do. Awesome idea!
