Bubbles Everywhere

The sketch challenge this week at CAS Colours & Sketches really did challenge me.  It's a unique layout for sure.  But then I remembered this stamp set and a light bulb went off in my head!  Suddenly, I didn't feel quite as challenged - whew!
It's not verbatim to the sketch but it does have the same wavy flow as the sketch.
I tried to keep it fairly close and I think I achieved that.  The Bubble Chicks were pretty easy to color, as were the bubbles.  Not my usual list of half a zillion markers!
To give depth all of the colored elements are popped off the card using foam dots and the other bubbles are die cut with the back panel embossed. To finish off I used a few clear epoxy dots as extra tiny bubbles.

Stamps and Dies: Stamping Bella Bubble Chicks
Dies: MFT Stitched Inside Out Circles
Copic markers: Y13, Y15, Y17, Y19, YR27, B0000, B000

  1. What a fun stamp set and perfect for the sketch, well done on your 'light bulb' moment and perfectly executed design as aways! Hugs Bev x

  2. How cute are these bubble chicks! Thanks for the inspiration, Jeanne!

  3. Hi Jeanne! This is soooo adorable and I love your interpretation of the sketch. Your little bubble chicks couldn't be more perfect. BTW, I really like your blog header and matching signature. Did you create it yourself? I get bored with what I have on my blog and I'm looking for something new. If you have a minute, please email me back at jeannie.thomas@yahoo.com.

    From one Jeann(i)e to another....haha...have a great day :)
