Teacup Bouquet

Hi everyone!  It's a sketch challenge this week at CAS Colours & Sketches. For today's card I used a stamp for the sentiment and the rest is completely die cut!
Here is the sketch that was posted:
The die I used is from Cottage Cutz and it cuts all pieces from one die with one pass through the Big Shot.  For this card I ran it through twice to give me more flowers.  I cut everything from white card stock and used Distress Oxide inks to color them.
I adhered one flower and some leaves to the outside of the cup then popped it off the card using foam dots just around the outside and bottom edges of the cup.  I left the top and inside open so that I could "arrange" the flowers  inside.
This method of designing was quite fun.  It was just as if I had real flowers!

Dies: Cottage CUtz Spring Teacup Bouquet
Stamp (sentiment): Stampin' Up! Vibrant Vases
Ink:  Distress Oxides Picked Raspberry, Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Forest Moss

  1. Hey Jeanne,

Yay - a spring bouquet (we are still getting snow here at this late time so florals really make my happy...). Your card is such a pretty one, all these soft and juicy floral colors distressed so nicely. And in a TEAPOT - this card would definately stay on my mantle for inspiration for a long time. Hope you keep creating lovelies like this.
