Happy Tuesday! Today I have a sketch challenge for you at CAS Colours & Sketches. I wanted an easy and quick Valentine - one that could be made in multiples and easy to mail if needed.
This one certainly fits the criteria! Once you cut the DSP in half diagonally you have the background for two cards. This pattern isn't directional so I can flip it so the cards are exactly alike, but if it is a directional pattern then just reverse the pattern side and sentiment placement to the upper left. The heart is popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals but is still fine to mail.
The heart stamp and die is part of a set called Hooray for Surprises that can create fun interactive cards where you pull back a tab to reveal an image or sentiment. The sentiment I used is from the Throughout the Year stamp set that was first offered last fall but is still available online. It has great sentiments for multiple occasions.
The patterned paper is a Specialty DSP - one side has gold foil patterns - and is FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. Buy the Hooray for Surprises bundle along with the Dimensionals and you qualify for the DSP!
AND I am having my own personal de-stash giveaway! I am cleaning out years of stamps, dies and DSP! For every $50* you spend with me I will send you a retired stamp set or die set from my stash ($100 earns a bundle while available!) Some of my sets are lightly used, but many are brand new! Spend at least $200 and I will also include some retired DSP. This is while supplies last so act now!
*Before tax and shipping
Use this Host Code ZKZ9XRKP when shopping with me in January. If you spend $150 do not use the Host Code so YOU get the Host Benefits! Just please make sure you are shopping with Jeanne Knobbe in order to qualify for my de-stash give away!
