Easter Basket Fold-It Card

Time for another Team O challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. We have a fun Easter / Spring themed board for you all.

I chose the top row across - Easter eggs, enamel dots and patterned paper.

I used a fold-it card from Stamps of Life, which basically makes a shaped card. For this one I plan to make it into a box using the box-it die. I think it would be fun to fill with candy as a miniature Easter basket!

Since I used patterned paper for the eggs they were super quick to create. The die set does come with stripes and other shapes to cut out and decorate the eggs. I decided to add some depth to the various elements and added some shading.

I hope you will find time to join us in the challenge!

St Patrick's Day Box

Hello everyone! I have been absent from cardmaking and crafting for awhile, I had some health issues and just did not have the inclination to craft - I needed to work on getting my strength back. But I'm feeling pretty good now!

My "card" today is actually a treat box. I call it a treat box because that is what I would use it for. It is also for this week's challenge at Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I chose the diagonal - metallic, green, die cuts. I hope that you will join in the fun and play along!

I created this card as a Guest Designer for the Stamps of Life's January HSN release. I was so honored to be asked to create projects that Stephanie could show during presentations on HSN's Craft Day.

I had four different die or stamp sets to create samples for. This is one of five I created using the Luck and Love A2 card die. I made this into a box by cutting the card in half at the fold line and using the Stamps of Life Box-It die which converts and shaped card or card into a thin box. (There are three sizes ranging from about 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 inches - but I am just estimating.)

This decorative die is particularly fun because when cutting out the card base you get a LOT of shamrocks that you can use to decorate a card or as shaker bits! I added a few to the front along with some gold gems.
