St Patrick's Day Tag Book

I'm the host this week at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I hope the board I created inspires your creativity.  My card is a tag book made entirely with dies.  This was a fun, but time consuming card to make.

It is not a difficult card, the manufacturer's YouTube videos showing how to assemble are very thorough.  What took me so much time was choosing the papers.  I think I had every green paper in my stash out to look for good combinations!  Because there is so much green, I needed to make sure I had contrast but also coordination in the shades.

Another thing I learned with this card.  In the video it was shown putting the decorations on the panels after assembling the book, but it was also mentioned that you could decorate BEFORE assembly.  I would highly recommend that as it can be a bit tricky doing it after.  The book does not lay flat so I was trying to glue on a vertical or angled surface and I had to be very careful not to bend the pop-up mechanism.

Here are some additional photos of the book:

I hope you'll find time to join us this week at Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

I am also entering this is Splitcoaststampers Friday Free for All challenge this week - use GREEN!
